Project Overview
Modutherm supplied a comprehensive heating and hot water solution for the Bedworth Physical Activity Hub, a modern sports facility serving the local community. The project was led by Brett Stokes, our Area Sales Manager for the Midlands.
The Challenge
Sports facilities require robust heating systems that can handle high demand while maintaining efficiency and reliability. The Bedworth Physical Activity Hub needed a solution capable of providing consistent heating and ample hot water for showers, changing rooms, and other facilities throughout peak usage periods.
The Solution
Heating System:
- Four Genesis 150kW wall-mounted condensing boilers in cascade configuration
- Up to 108% net efficiency
- High modulation ratios up to 10:1 for precise temperature control
- Class 6 NOx emissions for reduced environmental impact
Hot Water Production:
- Juniper® stainless steel twin coil calorifier (1000L capacity, 1865 litres/hour continuous output at 50°C ΔT)
- Two Polywarm® storage vessels (1000L each)
- Energy efficiency class C
